Spaces people
love living in.
The measure of good design isn't just how a space looks on the day it's finished. It's how it feels six months later.

We moved into our condo not knowing where to start. The concept planning session was honestly the best investment we made before renovation. They asked questions I hadn't thought to ask myself — about morning light, how we eat, whether we have guests often. The final layout felt like it had been designed for us specifically.

We went with the full design package for our semi-D. I was a bit nervous about trusting someone else with our home after a bad experience elsewhere. What I didn't expect was how much easier they made the whole process — the 3D presentation was really clear and we could actually see exactly what we were agreeing to. Three months in and we still can't believe it's our house.

I already had a design in mind and just needed someone to manage the execution. The supervision service was a good fit. There were a few moments where they caught issues before they became expensive problems — wrong tile dimensions, a supplier who was going to be late. Worth it for that alone. Communication was good, always knew where things stood.

The thing that stuck with me is that they never tried to push me toward anything expensive. When I mentioned I wanted to keep costs down in certain areas, they found smart alternatives without making the whole thing feel like a compromise. The living room in particular came out better than I'd imagined.

I honestly wasn't sure the space planning service alone would be worth it for a small apartment. It was. Having a proper floor plan with flow considered — where the furniture goes, how you move between rooms — changed how we approached everything. We avoided at least two expensive decisions that would have been wrong.

We needed help coordinating a renovation on our new home while both working full-time. The supervision service took a real weight off. There were weeks where they handled three or four supplier decisions that I just didn't have the bandwidth for. The process went to plan. A few minor delays on the contractor side but nothing that Muuvo could have prevented.

From brief to finished space
The challenge
A Mont Kiara condo with an awkward layout
A couple with a toddler had moved into a 900 sq ft apartment where the original layout placed the kitchen far from the living room, making supervision difficult. Storage was minimal and the bedroom felt cramped despite adequate floor area.
What we did
Full Interior Design Package. Reconfigured the kitchen opening to create a semi-open plan, providing sightlines through to the living area. Introduced built-in storage across three zones. Selected materials that were practical for a young family — easy to clean, durable, and not overly precious.
The outcome
Renovation completed within 7 weeks. The kitchen now flows into the living space, and storage doubled within the same footprint. The family's feedback after six months: the apartment feels significantly larger than it is.
"We thought we'd outgrown it. Turns out the space just needed to be rethought."
The challenge
A first-time renovation, no design experience
A professional who had just purchased a terrace house in Petaling Jaya. No experience with renovation, no idea what materials cost, no way to evaluate contractor quotes. Wanted guidance before committing to anything.
What we did
Concept & Space Planning service followed by Full Package when she decided to move forward. Starting with the lighter service gave her time to understand the process before committing to the full engagement. We worked through two rounds of revisions to get the master bedroom and kitchen exactly right.
The outcome
Completed in 6 weeks from design sign-off. She later said the phased approach helped her feel in control of a process that had initially seemed overwhelming. Now uses the house for hosting — something she hadn't thought possible before.
"Starting with the planning service first was the right call. I understood what I was deciding."
The challenge
A renovation mid-course with supplier problems
A busy entrepreneur had started renovating her Bangsar apartment with a contractor directly, but things had fallen behind schedule and two key suppliers were unreliable. She contacted Muuvo four weeks into the project.
What we did
Design Supervision & Procurement engagement, starting mid-project. We assessed what had been done, identified the supplier gaps, and brought in vetted alternatives. Re-established a realistic timeline and managed contractor communication from that point.
The outcome
Project completed 3 weeks after the original deadline — reasonable given the disruptions before involvement. No further supplier issues. Client was able to move in as planned without extending her temporary accommodation.
"I wish I'd brought them in from the beginning. Better late than not at all."
