1. Definitions

In these terms: "Muuvo", "we", "us", "our" refers to the interior design studio operating under the name Muuvo, based at 15 Jalan Telawi 3, Bangsar, 59100 Kuala Lumpur. "Client", "you", "your" refers to any individual or entity engaging our services or using our website. "Services" refers to the interior design services described on this website. "Agreement" refers to the formal engagement letter or scope document agreed between us and a client.

2. Acceptance of terms

By submitting an enquiry, engaging our services, or using this website, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are engaging on behalf of a company, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity.

3. Services

We offer interior design services as described on our Solutions page: Concept & Space Planning (MYR 450), Full Interior Design Package (MYR 2,800), and Design Supervision & Procurement Support (MYR 1,600). The specific scope, deliverables, and timeline for each engagement are confirmed in a written agreement before work commences. Service availability is subject to our capacity at any given time.

4. Payment terms

Fees are payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR). A deposit is required prior to commencement of work — the amount and payment schedule will be specified in the engagement agreement. Invoices are payable within 14 days of issue unless otherwise agreed. We reserve the right to pause work on any engagement where payment is overdue. We accept bank transfer (preferred), and other methods as agreed.

Refund requests will be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on the work completed at the time of the request. This does not affect your rights under Malaysian consumer protection law.

5. Client responsibilities

You agree to: provide accurate and timely information required for the design process, respond to requests for feedback or decisions within a reasonable timeframe, make yourself or a representative available for consultations and site visits as required, and ensure that any third parties (e.g. contractors, building management) are informed of our involvement where relevant.

Delays caused by late decisions or unavailability may affect the project timeline. We will communicate any impact promptly.

6. Intellectual property

All design concepts, drawings, mood boards, 3D renders, and documents produced by Muuvo remain our intellectual property until full payment has been received. Upon receipt of full payment, we grant you a non-exclusive licence to use the design documents for the specific project they were prepared for. You may not resell, sublicence, or use our design work for other purposes without our written consent.

7. Revisions and changes

The Full Interior Design Package includes two rounds of revisions, as specified in the service description. Changes requested beyond the agreed scope may be subject to additional fees. We will advise you in advance if any requested changes fall outside the original scope.

8. Third-party contractors and suppliers

Where we recommend or coordinate with contractors, suppliers, or vendors on your behalf (as part of the Design Supervision service), these parties contract directly with you. We are not a party to, and bear no liability for, agreements made between you and third-party contractors or suppliers. Our role is to assist in sourcing and coordinating, not to act as a principal contractor.

9. Confidentiality

We treat all client project information as confidential and will not share details, images, or specifics of your project with third parties without your consent, except where required to deliver the service (e.g. sharing dimensions with a supplier). We may request permission to use completed project images in our portfolio. Any such use is subject to your agreement.

10. Disclaimers

We provide services with professional care and skill. However, we make no warranties as to specific outcomes, such as a property's market value increase or contractor pricing. Design documents are prepared in good faith based on available information; we cannot be responsible for errors arising from inaccurate information supplied by the client or third parties.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability in connection with any engagement shall not exceed the fees paid for that engagement. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement by giving written notice. Where Muuvo terminates without cause, we will refund fees for work not yet commenced. Where a client terminates, fees for completed work and reasonable preparation costs remain payable. Either party may terminate immediately in the event of a material breach that is not remedied within 14 days of written notice.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes will first be addressed through good-faith discussion between the parties. Where resolution cannot be reached informally, disputes will be referred to mediation before any legal proceedings are initiated. The courts of Malaysia shall have non-exclusive jurisdiction.

14. General provisions

These terms, together with any engagement agreement, constitute the entire agreement between us. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force. A failure to enforce any provision shall not be deemed a waiver. These terms may not be assigned by you without our prior written consent.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The most current version will be posted on this page with a revised date. Continued use of our website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
