Design with
intention.
Muuvo was founded on the belief that good design comes from listening. Not just to briefs, but to how people actually move through their spaces.
← Back to HomeHow Muuvo came to be
Muuvo grew out of a simple frustration: too many interior projects felt rushed, impersonal, or disconnected from how the people who lived there actually spent their days. Our founder, a designer who had spent years in both residential and small commercial work across Kuala Lumpur, decided to build something different.
The name itself — a quiet nod to movement and change — reflects what we believe design should do. A well-considered space changes how you feel in it. It changes how you work, how you rest, how you welcome people in.
We started in Bangsar because it's a neighbourhood where old and new sit comfortably side by side — and that tension between heritage and contemporary living is something we think about in every project.
Our mission
To make considered, liveable design available to homeowners and small business owners in Malaysia — without the inflated fees or the impersonal process that so often comes with it.
Our values
Honesty about what's possible within a budget. Patience with the process. Respect for how each person or family uses their home. These aren't aspirations — they're how we actually work.
Meet our team
Siti Liana
Founder & Lead Designer
Over a decade working across residential and boutique commercial projects in KL, with a particular focus on materials, light, and spatial flow.
Raj Harish
Space Planning & 3D Visualisation
Brings technical precision to spatial layouts and produces 3D renders that help clients see their space clearly before anything is built.
Nadia Faris
Procurement & Project Coordination
Manages vendor relationships and site coordination, ensuring that what's designed actually gets built the way it was intended.
Quality & professional standards
Every project follows the same principles, regardless of scope or budget.
Clear agreements from the start
Scope, fees, and timeline are confirmed in writing before any work begins. There's no ambiguity about what's included.
Measured, methodical approach
We conduct thorough site assessments before making any spatial recommendations. Design decisions are grounded in the actual conditions of your space.
Vendor vetting & accountability
We only work with suppliers and contractors we've worked with before or thoroughly reviewed. Their reliability reflects on our work.
Client confidentiality
We do not share project details, photos, or client information without explicit consent. Your home is yours to share or not, on your terms.
Sustainable material choices
Where possible, we recommend locally sourced or low-impact materials. This is good for the environment and often better suited to the Malaysian climate.
Structured check-ins
Regular update points are built into every project. You're never left wondering where things stand or waiting days for a reply.
Interior design in Kuala Lumpur
Muuvo offers interior design services across Kuala Lumpur, with a studio base in Bangsar. Our work spans apartments in Mont Kiara and Bangsar South, landed homes in Damansara and Petaling Jaya, and small commercial spaces across the city centre.
The climate and lifestyle of Malaysia shape the way we design. Natural ventilation, shade management, and durable material selection for humid conditions are practical considerations we factor into every project — alongside the aesthetics.
Our team speaks English and Bahasa Malaysia, and we welcome clients from all backgrounds. Whether you're looking for a calm, paired-back home or a warm, layered space with personality, we'll find an approach that fits.
Let's talk about your space
We're happy to hear about your project at any stage — early ideas or ready-to-start. Just reach out.
